Summer 2012 Calendar
RRLC teams will compete in the best tournaments in the region. Believe it or not, some tournaments have 150 team wait lists and we can't guarantee that the tournaments we'd LIKE to attend will end of being the tournaments we WILL attend. We have a great track record with tournament acceptances and we plan on attending awesome tournaments in 2012. In addition to the competition, RRLC feels strongly about the opportunities to grow as a player from practice. We will aim for each of our teams to practice no fewer than 12 times in summer 2012.

When we enter RRLC team into tournaments, we factor in several things:
In which level can we find the best blend of challenging, yet competitively fair lacrosse? This is the key to success at any tournament.
Is the tournament grade based or age based? We'd be entering as an age-based team (U11, U13, U15 boys/girls) and by graduation year for the girls' teams.
Is the tournament championship or round robin format? By in large, kids prefer championship format but occasionally a team might benefit from more games with less emphasis on the result (wins/losses)
Will high school level players be exposed to college coaches in attendance to recruit? Usually hit or miss but our coaches will do their best to showcase their players before, during, and after events.
Can multi-level RRLC teams attend the tournament so we can have family atmosphere in between games? If yes, it makes for a better event.
Is the tournament organized, reasonably close in proximity, and well run?
Strict rules, clear schedule, good refs, convenient parking layout, accessible information, etc.
